WoW TBC Anniversary: Release Date and Official Schedule

World of Warcraft TBC Anniversary is coming very soon to Classic servers! Blizzard has confirmed that the Dark Portal will reopen on February 6 at 12:01 AM (Paris time), marking the official launch of The Burning Crusade Anniversary.

From that moment, players will be able to:

• Reach the new level cap of 70,

• Unlock flying mounts,

• And enter the first iconic raids of the expansion: Karazhan, Gruul’s Lair, and Magtheridon’s Lair.

⏳ Pre-patch: Get Ready in January

Before the official launch, a pre-patch update will be deployed on January 13, 2026. During this phase, players will need to make an important decision:

• Continue their journey into TBC Anniversary,

• Or move their character to an Era realm.

This choice must be made no later than January 12.

The pre-patch will also introduce several major features:

• The Level 58 Boost available for purchase,

• Playable Blood Elves and Draenei,

• A new profession: Jewelcrafting,

• And the arrival of Guild Banks.

📆 Key Dates to Remember

Blizzard has also shared the post-launch schedule for TBC Anniversary:

• February 18 → Start of PvP Arena Season 1 (after the weekly regional reset)

• February 20 → Raid unlock: Karazhan, Gruul’s Lair, and Magtheridon’s Lair

You will have several days to prepare by reaching level 70, farming Heroic dungeons, acquiring pre-BiS gear, and progressing through the key Outland reputations before these major releases.
