In this guide, we will talk about level 60 PvE for DPS Warriors and their 2 specializations: Arms and Fury.
Once they’ve acquired some good gear, warriors are at the top of DPS meters in Classic WoW. While leveling as a warrior is quite difficult because of the lack of low level gear as well as how expensive skills are (leading to consistently lacking your primary resource : Rage), warriors start to shine at max level!
Better gear means higher Rage generation, meaning more special attacks, leading you to doing massive damage in dungeons and battlegrounds.DPS Warriors have two different specializations: Arms and Fury.
Arms Warriors in Classic WoW are powerful fighters but are somewhat slow. They rely on rage to demolish anything that stands in the way. If supported by a healer, they excel in PvP, but they can struggle in PvE (unlike Fury Warriors).
Fury Warriors fight with a weapon in each hand. They’re known for being one of the best PvE DPS in Vanilla WoW thanks to their versatility, sturdiness and dots. It is better at PvE than PvP, unlike Arms Warriors.

This spec hits slower, but harder, with a strong AoE potential. Note that this spec is only viable for Horde Warriors because it requires Orcs’ Bloodlust racial as well as Shaman totems, only available to the Horde in Classic WoW.

We will give you a priority list for Warriors’ skills. It is not a fixed rotation, but depends on cooldowns and rage availability.
This rotation assumes you’re using one of our recommended talent setups and that you are at level 60.

Despite their massive power, we will not talk about explosives such as Charge de sapeur gobelin.
Keep in mind that Frappe héroïque and Enchaînement replace your next autoattack, which will then not grant you any rage. Their actual rage cost is therefore significantly higher than the tooltip indicates.
Only use Frappe héroïque to dump rage if you have at least 50 or 60 rage.
As for your damage cooldowns,Témérité must be used along with Souhait mortel or when you’re spamming Exécution.

Warrior BIS Gear GuideDPS Warriors’ main resource is Rage. You must understand how Rage is generated and how it works in order to use it as efficiently as possible.
You can have up to 100 Rage. Your Rage bar starts empty, and you lose 3 rage / second when out of combat.
You can generate Rage in two ways: hitting enemies with autoattacks, or getting hit by enemies. How much Rage you generate is dependent on how much damage you’re dealing or taking.
While in combat, Rage does not go away and can even slowly increase thanks to the Maîtrise de la Rage talent (1 rage / 3 seconds). Note that this isn’t mentioned in the tooltip.
You must understand that you don’t have to use up your rage immediately after generating it.
Hoarding rage properly is important to maximize your DPS (or your survival) as a warrior.
However, you can also lose potential damage if you’re forgetting to use your Rage. If you reach 100 Rage, you can’t generate any more, and any additional rage you should be generating is wasted. This is why playing a warrior is so interesting; it takes a lot of skill and experience to correctly use your resources. Once you’ve mastered that, you will be the best DPS in your raid!
