Phase 2 of World of Warcraft Classic arrives at 8pm CET! Get ready for the Update: two new World Bosses, PvP Honor feature and more!
Three months after World of Warcraft Classic launched, Blizzard starts the second development phase : Classic - Phase 2!
The launch of the game in its Vanilla robe had tripled the number of WoW subscribers, boosting the company's economy and reassuring the stakeholders. Blizzard recently indicated that they were delighted with the results, and were currently fully backing further developments for Classic.
During Phase 1, the majority of players have reached the highly desired level 60. However, the adventure doesn't stop here, on the contrary it is the beginning of the high-level content!
With the Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair raids, the most combative adventurers were able to prove themselvess by facing two dangerous bosses: Ragnaros and Onyxia.
The large and sinuous Dire Maul dungeon also opened on October 15, offering heroes content spread over three Wings and bringing its share of epic quests and challenging opponents, for the boldest players!
With Phase 2, the rallying cries and fighting between the Alliance and Horde factions will have a different impact. Indeed, the Honor System will be launched, offering rankings and rewards to the most warmonger players.
Two World Bosses will also be added: Azuregos located southeast of Azshara, and Lord Kazzak in the Blasted Lands.
We don't have any date yet for World of Warcraft Classic Phase 3, however, we know it should contain the Blackwing Lair, Darkmoon Faire, and PvP Instances like the famous Alterac Valley, and the dynamic Warsong Gulch!
